„Dopóki mamy twarze. Mit opowiedziany na nowo” to ostatnia powieść C.S. Lewisa, jednego z największych pisarzy chrześcijańskich XX wieku. Książka, na co wskazuje podtytuł, to nowa interpretacja mitu o Erosie i Psyche. Pierwsza pisana wersja tej baśni pojawia się w „Metamorfozach” Apulejusza. Lewis, w posłowiu do „Dopóki mamy twarze”, napisał, że podąża w swojej wersji za Apulejuszem, lecz traktuje go bardziej jako źródło, a nie wzór. Według Lewisa, Apulejusz był raczej interpretatorem mitu, nie zaś jego twórcą. Lewis przedstawia baśń o Erosie i Psyche z punktu widzenia jej brzydkiej siostry, Orual.
